Cool

Just a quick question that ties into GL's thread.

If you knew someone who was coming to visit Cincinnati for a week, where would you tell them to go?
What places would you send them to, or suggest they see?

Just wondering

Never been to either of those LOL!

I know I would send them to the zoo and the aquarium.
Probably to the Museum center as well. Probably at least one of the major parks (eden, Ault, woodland mound...) Something down by the river (no not a van down by the river )
If there was a game in town, might send them there. Maybe Sawyer Point. Might take them up to the observation deck of the Carew tower.

I dunno, I got think a little more about this one.

I entertained one of my best friends and his wife for a couple nights last July. They seemed to really enjoy their visit, though it was just for a couple of nights.

The first night was kind of short: Dinner and drinks on the patio at Rock Bottom, then we walked across the Roebling Bridge over to Covington and back. The plan was to walk all the way down the the Purple People Bridge, but they were kind of tired from travelling all day.

The next day we rode the bike trail from Loveland to Morrow, had lunch at Valley Vineyards (mediocre pizza and surprisingly decent wine), then rode back. Had dinner at Andy's, ate Graeter's on Hyde Park Square, and that was that.

If the Reds were in town, we would have gone to the game and the Hall of Fame for sure.

Hard to believe, but I really fretted over how to entertain them.

For the record, your premise of a week on vacation in Cincinnati is about 4 days too long.

As far as dining?
I'd either send them to or go along with them to the places that I normally go and maybe get them a couple coneys or some of the local ice cream or something. Maybe Izzy's.
